At
Darby Farm, we always keep a selected little group of top quality
breeding stallions.

Ramino - previous
breeding stallion

Fernando - previous breeding stallion

Breeding stallions on
daily exercise: Saphir III, Emiliusz and Emfatyk
They
are conditioned under saddle, as well as turned out in pasture
daily. We keep our stallions in the same barn as the mares
if
possible, for closer contact between the horses.

We also offer keeping and promoting broodmares, as well as foaling.
The mares are turned out in groups in big pastures, and their
offspring are growing strong by much natural exersice, playing with
others in the same age.

spending great time in the pastures

Our foalingstalls has cameras, mares are carefully monitored before
and during foaling. The foals are handled very much the first weeks,
and become very social, trustful and positive.

Lots of games...
We are
working with an excellent vet, Frederik Mijten, helping us getting
the mares in foal fast, and every young mare learns
the ultrasound
in a quiet, gentle way.
