When
you put your horse in showtraining at ArcticTern Training Center, we
know you give lots of trust to us. Sending a horse away
from home is not such an easy thing, you can never be sure how your
horse is treated when you are far away.

We will do our
very best to make sure your horse is very well taken care of, and
remains happy during the entire stay at our farm.
Our showhorses are kept in very spacious stalls with open fronts,
curious faces are always watching out what’s happening in the barn.
They are all turned out in big grass paddocks daily. Sorted in
smaller groups after age and preference of friends. Stallions are
not isolated, but
turned out in paddocks inbetween other fields, to
keep them socialised and happy.

Our training program is very varied, young horses are climbing hills
in hand in the forest, freelonged in the sandpaddock, and as well
ponied after
golf cart.
Horses 3 years and older are doing the same as the youngsters, but
in addition they are also longed with chambon or elastic, as
well as broke to ride, we climb quite a lot under saddle, as well as
riding them all in the forest and at racetrack.
This varied training keeps our horses fresh, happy and energetic.

The showhorses are groomed daily, we use vacuum cleaner and always
moisturizers for the coat, they receive extra oils in their
feed
for great quality of coat.

We school our horses slowly and gently with the goal of a relaxed
but very attentive standup, with no fear. We put much importance
on trustful companionship, with a proud horse , happy to please the
handler.

We have a close and good relation with outstanding vet and
blacksmith, and all horses are followed through the season, with the
goal of improving every week both condition, health, power and
correctness of feet.
You are very welcome with any questions about our showtraining
program!
